Leinier Dominguez joined Gata Kamsky in the lead in round 9 of the Grand Prix in Thessaloniki, Greece. The Cuban grandmaster defeated Fabiano Caruana with the black pieces on Saturday while Kamsky drew his game with Etienne Bacrot. With two rounds to go, Dominguez and Kamsky are now a point ahead of Caruana. Veselin Topalov bounced back from two consecutive losses with a win against Alexander Morozevich.
