Adams lost to Yuriy Kryvoruchko, Bacrot was defeated by Alexander Moiseenko, Navara went down against Jon Ludvig Hammer, Ponomariov was knocked out by Daniil Dubov (in the Armageddon game!) and Wang Hao lost to Alexey Dreev.
